2023 Timber Cup Rules
General
  1) Timber Cup Scoring is based on Net Scores or modified Net Scores as defined below
  2) Hole Handicaps shall be determined/assigned by the Club Committee (versus what is assigned by the USGA)
  3) All Local Timber Point Men's Club Rules Apply

Timber Cup Competition
  4 Quarters to the Season
    Quarter 1 is 5 Weeks Long
    Quarter 2 is 5 Weeks Long
    Quarter 3 is 5 Weeks Long
    Quarter 4 is 5 Weeks Long
    Your 3 Lowest Net Scores Determines Your Standings in Each Quarter
    Net Scores are Calculated using 87.5% (same as Last Year) of each Players USGA Handicap
    The 4 Players With the Lowest 3 Net Score Totals (plus Ties) 'Qualify' For the PlayOffs
    If a Player Finishes in the Top 4 in Another Quarter, One Fewer Player Qualifies From That Quarter!!
  PlayOffs
    4 Weeks Long
    The Player With The 3 Lowest Net Score Total Is The Winner of the Timber Cup
  Summary
   To win you must have 3 good rounds in one of 4 quarter to qualify for the playoffs and then play well enough in 3 of 4 PlayOff Weeks
   You need only Play 3 rounds (not all rounds) in a Quarter to Qualify for the PlayOffs
   You need only Play 3 rounds (not all rounds) in the PlayOffs to Win

  1) The 2023 Timber Cup Regular Season:  15 April 2023 - 23 September 2023
  2) The Timber Cup 1st Quarter:        15 April 2023 - 13 May 2023
  3) The Timber Cup 2nd Quarter:      20 May 2023 - 17 June 2023
  4) The Timber Cup 3rd Quarter:       24 June 2023 - 22 July 2023
  5) The Timber Cup 4th Quarter:      29 July 2023 - 26 August 2023
  6) The Timber Cup Playoffs:             2 September 2023 - 23 September 2023

Prizes
  1) The Timber Cup Is Awarded to the Winner at the Christmas Party
  2) The Winner Keeps the Timber Cup At Home Until the Opening TC Round of the New Year
  2) The Winner Receives a Credit for Merchandise in the Timber Point Pro Shop
