Best Ball
Game Summary
Best Ball is Perhaps the Most Common of All Golf Games to Be Played. In the TPMC, there are typically two man teams and the Team's Score is the Lower of the Two Team Members Net Score. Variations Include, using a % of each Players Course Handicapor playing with more than Two Players On a Team and then Using More or Less Than Two of the Best of the Teammates Net Scores.
Rules For Best Ball 1) The Team Hole Score is the Lessor of the Teammates Net Scores
3) Each Player's Net Score is determined by a percentage of the Player's Course Handicap. Most often that percentage is 100%.
4) The Overall Team Score is the Sum of All Team Hole Scores.
5) The Team with the Lowest Total For all Holes is the Winner.
Note: For Games in which There are More than Two Players, at Least One Less Score of All of the Teammates can be Used.
If All of the Teams Net Scores are Used, Then that Game Simply Becomes a Variation of Net Score Team Score and that Game is No Longer a Best Ball Game.
