Vegas (TPMC Variation)
Summary of Vegas
This is another simple way of combining (Net) Scores to result in a Team Score for Each Hole.
The results of a Vegas Game are similar to that of a Best Ball Game, in that the Lower of the Two
Player's scores dominates the Team Score. However Vegas has the added effect of the Second Teammates Score being part of the Team Score ~and thus~ being a significant part of the Team's Score
Rationale for the Max Team Score Cutoff of 77...
This minimizes the effect on a player whose teammate shoots a Net 10 or higher on a hole from
being overly penalized. Or if both teammates really screw up the same hole, their Vegas Team
Hole Score does not take the team completely out of contention.
Rules For Vegas 1) Play all Holes out Until All Players Finish with a Net Score of 10 or Less
2) For 2 man teams, Put the Lower of the Two Scores First to Form a 2 Digit Number, which is the Team Score for That Hole.
3) If/When we Play Teams of 3 or More Players, Use Only the Two Best Net Scores on the Team.
4) If one of the two scores is a Net 10 or higher, ~~AND/OR~~ the Team Score Computes to a Number Greater than 77...
then the Team Score is Cutoff to a Maximum Team Score, for One Hole of 77.
